Recently, the 2023 Australia China Textile, Apparel, and Fashion Exhibition (Melbourne) successfully concluded at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. The exhibition lasted for three days and took place from November 21 to November 23.
The exhibition was organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles and Apparel, and it is one of the most influential exhibitions in the industry.
In previous years, the exhibition was held once annually. However, starting from this year, in response to the demand of numerous participating companies, it is held twice a year, taking place in both Sydney and Melbourne. The Sydney edition was successfully held in July this year.
Last Saturday, our General Manager, Ms. Cindy Sun, traveled to Australia with company partners, Ms. Rachel and Ms. Aster. The purpose of this trip, revealed at this moment, can be easily inferred from the previous text. One of the purposes is to participate in this exhibition with an exceptionally long name.
One of them? After all, this trip lasted for two weeks, and the exhibition has already concluded. To know what will happen next, let's wait for the update next week!
Oh, oh, don't rush to exclude it. Let's take a look at the week of the three ladies—it's also quite exciting!
The first thing upon departure—overweight luggage. After arriving at the airport, the group checked in three heavy boxes for the exhibition. However, one box exceeded the weight limit by seven kilograms, requiring an additional charge of eight hundred yuan. In desperation, an on-the-spot repackaging involving weight transfer took place, attracting numerous onlookers, and finally saving eight hundred yuan.
Luckily, it was ultimately resolved perfectly. (Cheers!)

After a long wait in the ticket inspection queue, the group successfully boarded the plane. The airplane's air conditioning was colder than expected, but fortunately, the destination was in late spring that evening, so there was no need to worry about catching a cold due to temperature differences during the journey.
The flight this time lasted for eight hours and forty minutes, departing in the evening and arriving in the early morning. It covered a distance of eight thousand kilometers by flying eastward, directly reaching GMT+10. Life is like a dream; it's better to choose sleep zzZ.
Arrived smoothly!
After landing, after a short rest, the tightly scheduled exhibition construction began. In accordance with the organizer's requirements, everyone had to wear work clothes to enter the exhibition for the construction work.
The exhibition construction was completed smoothly, everything was prepared, only waiting for the east wind!
On the opening day, several ladies got up early, tidied up their appearance, carefully tied their scarves, and approached their work and life with the same passion, rigor, and solemnity as always. The three-day battle began.
The seemingly short three days of the exhibition, the urgency of the frontline battle is hard to empathize with, only able to marvel at the ladies on the scene who, in an orderly and highly professional manner, provided explanations while simultaneously handling the influx of new customers and orders.
Before departure, when asked about her expectations for this exhibition, Cindy simply said, "We have done everything we can. Now we just need to proceed step by step." The saying "Do what is within your power, and leave the rest to fate" holds true. With all human efforts made and factors within control accomplished, there is no need to worry about uncontrollable outcomes—a profound wisdom in simplicity.
The three-day exhibition concluded successfully.
After three days of work, it's time to relax a little!
A very enthusiastic old client, known for four years, strongly insisted on taking several ladies to the local "Wei Ma Market" to show some hospitality.
"Wei Ma Market" is, of course, a nickname. Its full name is the "Queen Victoria Market," one of the most famous markets among the many in Melbourne, beloved by locals and international students. It is affectionately called the "Wei Ma Market." When the group went, it was a bustling market day, and there happened to be a concert. People were dancing in front of the stage, creating a lively atmosphere.
"People were spontaneously dancing, without any deliberate organization. The dancers, regardless of height, weight, or nationality, were engaging in various dance styles, from tango to rumba, with a carefree and natural spirit. It made people feel the joy of life. Some things, even if you change countries or languages, remain unchanged. Compared to hardships and unhappiness, what still prevails is people's longing for a better life. This is something very touching," Cindy said to me in this way.
As I write this manuscript, three hours ahead of me, they might be preparing dinner in the house. Cindy is handing the spice bottle to Aster in front of the stove. "Diligent work, joyful life." If this phrase had an image, it would probably look something like this.
